Ahhh, favorite John Green quote! That is hard. I have a list of them, but I’ll pick this one! Which is more like a paragraph than a quote.

“Saying ‘I notice you’re a nerd’ is like saying, ‘Hey, I notice that you’d rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you’d rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?’ In fact, it seems to me that most contemporary insults are pretty lame. Even ‘lame’ is kind of lame. Saying ‘You’re lame’ is like saying ‘You walk with a limp.’ Yeah, whatever, so does 50 Cent, and he’s done all right for himself.”

My favorite John Green book (so far) is Paper Towns, as much as I LOVED Looking for Alaska, the humor in Paper Towns is just so unique, books like that are hard to find.

My favorite John Green quote can only be narrowed down to about three, but I think that my favorite is
    “The truth resists simplicity.”
just because it almost explains itself in that it is such simple reasoning, yet there is so much more to uncover about the truth. Some others I like are
“Here’s to all the places we went. And all the places we’ll go. And here’s to me, whispering again and again and again and again: iloveyou”
    and
“What a treacherous thing to believe that a person is more than a person.”

My favorite John Green Quote would have to be from Looking for Alaska

“If we were rain, I’d be a drizzle and she’d be a hurricane”
    (kind of paraphrasing it :)

Figures I can’t remember my favorite JG quote word-for-word at the moment, but this is essentially it:

“I think the quotes we choose say a lot more about us than the quotes themselves.”

And my favorite book is Paper Towns :)

Thank you so much for this giveaway! My favorite John Green book is Paper Towns, and my favorite quote is, “And all at once I knew how Margo Roth Spiegelman felt when she wasn’t being Margo Roth Spiegelman: she felt empty. She felt the unscaleable wall surrounding her. I thought of her asleep on the carpet with only that jagged sliver of sky above her. Maybe Margo felt comfortable there because Margo the person lived like that all the time: in an abandoned room with blocked-out windows, the only light pouring in through holes in the roof. Yes. The fundamental mistake I had always made—and that she had, in fairness, always led me to make—was this: Margo was not a miracle. She was not an adventure. She was not a fine and precious thing. She was a girl.”
