Q: If you could “unread” a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?

[singlepic id=203 w=220 h=140 float=left]

A: The ugly first, one of the worst books  to me I wish I could unread was was Lisa Mangum The Hourglass Door. Boring no real conflict, the love triangle is non existence. It was  disappointing and I liked the concept. The book I want to experience again for the first minus the hype of the movies is Twilight . I stated reading the series late after Eclipse was published and the movies coupled with the hype kinda of ruined it for me. I want to rediscover the magic I felt the first time I read Bella and Edward’s love story.

TGIF is a weekly meme hosted by Ginger at GReads! Each week, Ginger asks a question for her followers to answer and link up. It’s also a chance to provide a re-cap of the past week’s posts. It’s a great way for bloggers to get to know one another a little more.

Q: Authors Are Our Celebrities: Have you ever contacted an author you admired? How did that experience go?  If not, which author would you love to have a chat with?

A: No I haven’t but if I could have a chat with an author the first I would choose was Lili St Crow (The Strange Angels series) I would pick her brain about the characters I love. Second would be Kady Cross (The Girl In the Iron Collar) I wasn’t really a fan of steampunk but this series made me start reading.

I can understand the wanting to rediscover the Twilight love–I really liked that series until I read Breaking Dawn. Don’t even get me started on the movies!
I’d also LOVE to meet Lili St. Crowe–if only to find out what the heck happens to the love triangle!

Hopping through. I read Twilight just before the first movie came out – I didn’t know anything about a movie when I read it. I’m glad I hit it before all the hype and controversy started but really wish I’d read it earlier.

    New Follower,

I agree with all the hype it just all went crazy after that. But I was fortunate to read the books long before the movies. So besides Breaking Dawn I loved them all.

Old Networked Blogs Follower :) I first watched the movie before reading the book, after reading the first I devoured the rest of the series! :)

Would love to meet both of those authors too! I’m sort of an author stalker and try to see them as much as I can! These are two I have yet to meet! Came close to Kady Cross at RT this year, but she got sick and had to cancel at the last minute! Oh well.

Haven’t heard of your book pick, I might avoid that as well.

New Linky follower. I would do Twilight again too. I started after New Moon the movie came out. I couldn’t want to find out if she was going to marry him or not! lol

I hear you about Twilight, I feel the same way. I also agree with you about all the hype ruining it. I didn’t even think the movies were that good either.
