Q: Best Cover? What is the best cover of a book that you’ve read and didn’t like?

A: This is a great question the answer is a lot but I will narrow it down  to three. In no particular order first one is All just Glass by Amelia Atwater Rhodes  loved the cover the story was ok but the cover gave you the impression it was going to be a wild ride.  The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff great book in theory but I just couldn’t get into it, last and but not least is Blood by K.J Wignall its the first book in Mercian trilogy. The first was lack luster but the cover was amazing I debated for 15mins in Barnes and Noble wether I should buy it  still I’m glad I read it just wish it was from the library, sorry. Hopefully book 2 is way better.

Q: Worst cover? What is the worst cover of a book that you’ve read and loved?

A: I’m a very visual person and most of the books I pick the covers are one that caught my eye and drew me in. They are usually beautiful. But one book I read and loved but hated the cover, was The Lovely Bones

But as it is I don’t have any regrets because every mistake or discovery has been a lesson that has made me sonythebooklover.

Q: What drove you to start book blogging in the first place?
A: I tried blogging a couple years ago and I didn’t  go anywhere but after I found the Youtube videos of  book tubers ( YouTubers who do video book reviews online)  it opened the door to blogging and I have been successfully blogging for a year and 7 months nothing to it.

Q: Jumping Genres: Ever pick up a book from a genre you usually don’t like and LOVE it? Tell us about it and why you picked it up in the first place.
A: I’m not a fan of steampunk well at least I wasn’t a fan until I read Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross. I found the mixture of Victorian old world with a dose of innovative steam powered tech fascinating. After reading this book I read a few more and now the genre has really grown on.
[singlepic id=130 w=420 h=340 float=left]Girl in the Steel Corsetby Kady CrossPublished: May 24, 2011Publisher: Harlequin TeenIn 1897 England, 16-year-old Finley Jayne is convinced she’s a freak. Only Griffin King sees the magical darkness inside her that says she’s special . . . that she’s one of “them.”

Q: If you could “unread” a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?

[singlepic id=203 w=220 h=140 float=left]

A: The ugly first, one of the worst books  to me I wish I could unread was was Lisa Mangum The Hourglass Door. Boring no real conflict, the love triangle is non existence. It was  disappointing and I liked the concept. The book I want to experience again for the first minus the hype of the movies is Twilight . I stated reading the series late after Eclipse was published and the movies coupled with the hype kinda of ruined it for me. I want to rediscover the magic I felt the first time I read Bella and Edward’s love story.

Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?

A: I don’t know your writing changed my life filled my afternoon with awesome characters and adventures. That inspired a little more courage in my everyday life to try or do something new. I think Dru wouldn’t let fear stop her why should you. Also I would love to pick their brain and find out who they come up with their character and adventures. That’s all off the top of my head. Why is it when you’re asked a pointed question you freeze and your mind goes blank but hours days later you’re oh that’s what i should have said comment below if you have had those brain hiccups like me.
